2009 Bungy Season

As of April 1st 2009 the bridge that we have been using for bungy jumping over the past few years in Minakami, Gunma has come under the jurisdiction of the Gunma regional council and unfortunately it looks as though we are going to have to disappoint a lot of very excited people this Golden Week as I am sorry to say we are yet to secure permissions to use the Suwakyo Bridge for bungy jumping in 2009 and still working through a few details before we can start.

However, things do look bright for the rest of the year and we are confident and excited that we are going to be up and servicing the adrenaline needs of our customers in the very near future.

If we are able to get through the last few details it will be an amazing achievement as receiving permission to use a prefecturally owned bridge for the purpose of bungy jumping is unprecedented in Japan and we hope it is a sign that Japan is taking positive steps forward in developing local tourism ventures…
