On July 27, 2014 at Sarugakyo Bungy, owner Beau Retallick set a new world record for the most bungy jumps in 24 hours. The record was achieved in less than 19 hours, with 158 jumps completed.

In August 2012 and March 2013 Bungy Japan operated 2 short events in a small town in Kumamoto Prefecture which were both incredibly popular attracting customers from all over Kyushu and Japan - including Kumamoto’s famous Mascot character Kumamon and the Deputy Governor of the Kumamoto Prefecture.
